Diced dates turn the Aseel into an industrial ingredient: uniform cubes cut from pitted fruit and lightly dusted with rice flour so they stay free-flowing through hoppers, mixers and depositors instead of clumping into toffee.
Standard cuts are 6–8 mm and 8–10 mm; other cuts and dusting agents are available at volume. If your line runs muffins, cereals, cookies or bars, this is the format that saves you the pitting and chopping step — and the machine downtime that comes with sticky fruit.
